Cobb County Jail

This is untrue. If you are sentenced to time up to 12 months, in Cobb County they have 2 for 1, less the first 5 days. So, if you are sentenced on November 1st to 30 days in jail, your "two for one" does not start until November 6th. Then each day counts as 2. You should techincally be released on/around 18th.

My son was just revoked 4 months of probation. He is a trustee and we were told that he would do 2 days for 1. Is this correct?

The two for one deal does not apply for all inmates. Contact the sheriff's office for exact release dates.
